Wives of the Signers eBook Mary W Green
If there is anyone else out there who have ever wondered (like I did) about what role women played in America's fight for independence then this book is for you. I have been amazed many times at how the "liberal" establishment has gone on and on about "women's rights" but they have totally ignored America's Founding Mothers (this is how I refer to the wives of our Founding Fathers).David Barton has done it again with this historical reprint of a book from 1912. Here is my primary reason why David Barton is my favorite historian. He takes you to primary source documentation not some textbook that has been rewritten by Progressives to hide or distort the truth This is the first book I ever read that talks about the incredible courage in the face of incredible hardships of our Founding Mothers. While reading this you will learn about women like Abigail Adams, Dorothy Quincy Hancock, Julia Stockton Rush, and Deborah Read (Mrs. Benjamin Franklin). I found myself inspired by their stories of love, loyalty, strength, and wisdom. Do you want to get an idea of what it was like to be a woman during our War for Independence then read this book.
Getting this book was because of what I have seen from my own mother's incredible love and compassion as well as her strength and courage. Whether you get a hard copy or get it on your kindle like I did, get this book. If I had a wife or daughter I would want her (or them) to read this book and see what generation it was that was really "liberated". And nobody burned their corsets. Now how about that.

not enough info
You hear about the signers, so it's great to read about the women that were behind the scene. What great women they had to be.
